Last week was one of the first few weeks that we've had the temperature up in the triple digits. Naturally, I was a little worried that on Monday the photo session scheduled was going to be pretty warm. We found some shade and it was not bad at all! Meet the Orcutt Family. I met Marc a couple semesters ago in college. We took a Business Management class on a Saturday morning. Yes, I repeat, Saturday morning. The perk to the class was that it only lasted 2 months, but we had to suffer a brutal 6 hours.
During this time, Marc and I became good friends. In the Fall, he asked me to shoot some photos of him and his wife since they didn't get many photos when they were married.
Long story short, little Derek was born. Here are some photos from their session.
I love baby yawns. They're my absolute favorite.
Look at those beautiful blue eyes!
This little guy was reluctant to give me a smile when I was geared up for it. Here I was able to capture a little one.
This made us giggle, his little harm is in dad's pocket.
Derek: "I look just like my mom in this picture". :)
My favorite shot of the day. We found this awesome patch of flowers in the front of The Cottonwood Grill, in Boise.
