This post has nothing to do with this photo... but a little bit it does.
I just recently ordered a monitor calibrator. It had never really crossed my mind until after doing some prints I noticed a variation in my photos on the screen vs my photos in print. It wasn't a big difference, but I started to become paranoid that my photos are going to be way off from what they should be. I was also worried that it would get worse and suddenly I would be over compensating my editing when I didn't need to.
So this week I received my monitor calibrator. I was happy to see that my monitor wasn't off too much, but was still off. There will still be a difference from computer to computer, but that's something I can't really control. Another variable will be where my clients decide to get their prints done. If they are going to a place that doesn't specialize in professional printing, they'll notice a difference as well.
So this photo was edited with a calibrated monitor and I'm confident of my prints now.
