Yesterday was an awesome day so I took advantage of cleaning up the yard and planting seeds and bulbs. Our yard always looks so terrible in the early spring but it's always refreshing when everything blooms. This year I splurged and bought lots and lots of new stuff with the plan of pulling out lots of old stuff. I wish I had taken a "before I gutted everything" photo, but instead you'll get a "after I gutted but before it's pretty" photo.
Basically all of the bare spots used to have a plant in it and now have either seeds or bulbs in them. I also trimmed all the bushes down to nothing. All of the random green spots in the yard will be gone and will blend with the rest.
I didn't do this alone. Oh no. I had a helper.
