Okay internet. I'm trusting that you guys are my friends and that you don't judge harshly. As you will notice, today's post is pretty late. That's mostly because I worked in the yard all day (which I will report with tomorrow), and I needed to tackle my ever-growing pile of laundry. When I say ever-growing, I mean it.
I've always hated doing laundry. Growing up, I would have rather worn dirty clothes then to do laundry. Hated it. Then I started college. I've always had a good job in college so I wasn't one of those poor college students. So, instead of washing laundry, I would just buy new clothes (you think I'm kidding but I'm not). That's how much I hate laundry.
After my boyfriend (now husband) and I moved in together, he quickly learned that I despised doing laundry. We decided that doing laundry separately was probably the best way to go. That way he didn't have to wait 3 weeks for clean clothes since boys only have a week worth of clothes and girls have 3 weeks worth of clothes.
Now that I'm grown and married, I can't be so reckless with my money and buy clothes whenever I run out of clean ones.
During times where I'm not so busy, I can usually keep it under control. The last couple weeks, however, not so much. It had actually gotten so bad that my shoes were starting to get lost in the process.
Before I show you proof, you must promise to not judge me. I mean it.... promise. This photo is also proof that I need a bigger closet because ours is bursting at the seams.
Here it goes....
...and my husband's side.
For the record, I am a pretty organized person in general just not when it comes to certain areas of personal space. It also doesn't look this bad anymore. I've since managed to organize and start the washing process. Sadly, half of those are clean and half are dirty.
There are some pros to this system. By not doing laundry as often I am able to equally wear all of my clothes. It forces me to wear all of my clothes instead of only my favorites.
