The other day my grandpa posted this picture on Facebook. Yes, my grandpa has Facebook. He's cool like that. Anyway, he posted this photo of him when he was 4 or 5. I LOVE old photos and hope that these photos stick around in the family for a long time. I'd love to be able to show my kids one day. I can tell them "this is what photos looked like when the black and white wasn't a setting on the camera or photoshop, it's the kind of film that made it black and white".
I'm getting off track here.
Here is the photo he posted. I love it. He said it was taken in the 40's on HIS grandparents farm in PA.
While we're at it, here are a couple from when my mom was growing up. My grandpa enjoyed photography so it's nice to see that there are a decent amount of photos from my mom growing up. It's also fun to see how much my sisters and I resembled my mom when we were that age.
