I was able to sneak in a photo shoot with this family before they made their trek back to Boise!
It seems like just yesterday I was photographing this couple's wedding. I blinked and here they are, expecting baby #2! I have been dying to meet their little one and it was worth the wait. He kept me on my toes!. When he wasn't busy exploring the grounds of the mission, finding sticks and tasting rocks, he would turn around and give me the biggest smile!
Here are a few of my favorites:
I took a little road trip today out to the Bailey Family ranch out in Pendleton, Oregon today.
This session has been a long time coming. Shana is also a photographer and with as many stories that she documents, it's been 7 years since their last set of family photos.
We had a lot of fun trekking through the creek next to their house to get some of these.
One of the fun things about my job is being able to document growing families. Just a little over 2 years ago I was photographing big brother as a newborn. It is so rewarding seeing the shift in the family dynamic when a new member joins the family.
Big brother was SO sweet with his little brother.
Back in early November I got an email from this mama asking if we could do a photo shoot in the snow. These guys are from Southern California and wanted to document playing in it.
I laughed a little and responded that we don't get snow in the winter very often, and if we do it's in January.
Little did I know we were going to get more snow than we had in 30 years! Even today we got dumped on and lots of schools had snow days.
I'm so glad it worked out! It was chilly and we had fun playing in it.
The snow is still here! As much as I am not a fan of winter, I absolutely love shooting in the snow. These guys are good friends of ours. I had so much fun photographing their sweet baby girl.
I love all of these families! Not only did I go to college with one of them, I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding as well!
These sisters had babies a month apart! How fun is that? Everyone was in town so it was a perfect opportunity to celebrate with a family photo session. It poured rain the night before so we lucked out that morning.
Last time I photographed these families there was one member yet to be born! These guys like to get the cousins together when everyone is in town. I can't believe how much these kiddos have grown since I last saw them.
The many faces of Anderson. This was about a 30 second series...
And sometimes kids are just done with photos :)
This little lady isn't just a normal client, she's actually my niece. I ordered a new lens and wanted to play with it a bit so I asked my sister if she could bring her over. It's been pretty cold in Boise so we shot around my house and then walked to the park shortly after.
Here are a few of my favorites.
You might recognize this family! Just a little over a year ago I was photographing their wedding. It was such a pleasure to photograph their newest member of the family! He was so sweet and perfect! He even slept most of the time!
