I had so much fun with these sweet little girls. The giggles were infectious!
I've been looking forward to this session for a while.
These guys were all on board when I had the idea of heading out to the Bruneau Sand Dunes, which is about an hour away. Little did we know, the wind was also going to kick our booties.
They didn't complain once!
At one point we had to come up with a new plan to escape the wind for a little bit, and those turned out to be some of my favorite shots.
I was supposed to photograph this couple during the week, but we got rained out. Baby is due in a couple weeks so we didn't have time to spare. After waking up to some more off and on rain, we decided to just go for it.
These guys are were so great. He had to hide from the rain a little but I think it added character to our maternity session.
Here are a few of my favorites:
There are 2 other (furry/feathery) children that didn't make it in the sneak peek but they were just as much part of the family!

I love a good time lapse. I didn't plan this but once I got to their house I realized there was a perfect opportunity to create something really meaningful.
Oh how I love this.
It is baby season! I can't tell you how many of my friends have had their babies in the last few weeks. And there are more to come!
Today was such a beautiful spring day in Boise.
I had so much fun with this little guy! He was so playful. Every time I would go to tickle him he would come and tickle me back! Not to mention how easy going his parents and brother Bodhi the lab is. When I asked him if his mama was having a boy or girl he said girl. So only time will tell!
My baby sister has a baby in her belly! When she first got pregnant she told me that she probably wouldn't want any maternity photos. I could accept that.
This week I texted her to tell her I think we should just grab a COUPLE quick photos as a memory of what she looked like around 34 weeks pregnant.
She said she picked a dress she thought I would really like, and she nailed it.
I love this family! This mama is sooo gorgeous. Would you believe she was pretty much due any day at this point!? She was running around and doing all sorts of stuff I would have never expected to see from someone who was nine months pregnant!
Chavon contacted me in the winter about doing a spring photo session. The funny thing is, she ended up getting pregnant between that time and I didn't know until I showed up for the session. Surprise!! So fun to do a family/maternity session blend. I had so much photographing these guys. They were down for anything and actually get my sense of humor!
The photos will speak for themselves, but this little guy was so animated and fun. He was so easy to play with, I almost got him too riled up for photos!
